About

WHO AM I?
Kulwinder Singh Rai, a former technology journalist and editor.

WHAT AM I NOW?
One of the most experienced B2B and B2C Technology PR and Communications specialists in the UK. Or so I’d like to think.

DO I KNOW WHAT I’M DOING?
I should hope so. I started out as a journalist in 1989, working on some of the best technology and automotive titles in the UK, before going freelance. Having been on the receiving end of PR efforts, both dazzlingly good (exceedingly rare) and tediously indifferent (the norm) for most of that time, I knew I could do better. So I established RAI PR Ltd in 2002. Have been forging relationships and telling technology-related stories ever since, longer than most PR agency account execs have been alive.

DO I UNDERSTAND TECHNOLOGY?
Yup. I spent 13 years writing about it for the media (you can learn more by visiting my LinkedIn profile, it’s on the ‘Contact’ page) and have spent the last 16 years explaining it to journalists. My curiosity knows no bounds.

WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?
Easy. I’ll bring your brand, products or service to the attention of the relevant media and key opinion-makers, not to mention consumers who might actually be interested in buying whatever it is you’re selling. Because, when it comes right down to it, that’s what matters.

HOW?
Deep breath… services include Media Relations, Events Management, Marketing Consultancy, Content Creation and Marketing, Brand Creative, Project Management, Product Review Programme Management, CSR, Product Development Strategy, PR Activation, Internal and External Communications, Corporate and Strategic Communications management, Trade Marketing, Agency/Freelance Management, and Social Media Management.

In other words, storytelling and engagement… in all their forms.

WHICH AUDIENCES?
Any and all. I talk to anyone and everyone that YOU need to communicate with. Contacts? Got the best in the business.

ANYTHING ELSE A CLIENT MIGHT WANT TO KNOW?
I’m exceedingly flexible, charge a fraction of what the bigger agencies charge, will always go the extra mile and will never blow smoke up your proverbial. I don’t have a ‘well-being’ programme, refuse to navel-gaze (unless I’ve spilled a drink down my front) and have never been mistaken for a hipster.

I think that covers most of it, head for the ‘Contact’ page and get in touch if you want to know more.

Live long and prosper!
